Human organisms have proven longevity potential of 100 years plus but quality of life in final decades is often poor.Our vision is to find novel treatments for age-related diseases to increase human healthspan in line with growing longevity.
We have found that hiPSCs have the ability not only to stay young but also to self-rejuvenate when forced to age. Our approach is to harness this power of ‘resetting the clock’ in hiPSCs to identify new approaches to treating age-related diseases.
We have developed an ageing model that force-ages hiPSCs and triggers their self-rejuvenation mechanism. Our technology thus enables a comprehensive decoding of rejuvenation biology for therapeutics development and corresponding IP.
